Trauma — a beautifully pronounced word.
Newton said, ‘Every object moves in a straight line unless acted upon by a force’. In 9th-grade physics, I completely understood this statement. Hell, I mastered the knowledge of physics in my mind.
We were taught science’s contribution to making everything the way it is. There were religious studies, the good and the bad; haram, and halal. I never understood religion well enough to share my opinion in class, I thought I’d be bullied.
My first year being a college student, and I feel the need to express myself. I thought, ‘I understand that science is religion and religion is science, and you can’t have one of them without the other.’. I also had the impression that the philosophy of amended mind and heart, was a way of living.
Einstein said, ‘Things change on the surface, but deep down they remain the same.’ Maybe the idea of going forward is indeed an illusion, the space-time theory can apply to the real world. Because the past doesn’t disappear, it lingers inside us, in our present.
What if the pain is an obstacle to overcome? Maybe it’s just a road you walk on. A detail carved on your palm that never leaves you. Your strength is visible only when you have endured much of that pain, that detail on your palm is a reminder of how far you come.
you are traumatized as a result of witnessing a horrifying event, it’s a nightmare — except you are not sleeping. you might have dreamt of this and woke up freshened from a deep sleep, but the reality is far worse.

‘Muuuuumm, wake up!!’ I yelled. ‘I’m going to be late for school!!’

As I’m passing the street, holding my notebook and a bag full of books. I turn on my right side and the next thing I know, I’m hit by a vehicle raising me up into the sky. It felt peaceful until I crashed onto the street and heard my jaw break. ‘this couldn’t be happening, I have a physics quiz…’
